The $3 Million Dollar Investment Plan

THE PLAN
$3 Million placed in a secure investment instrument. Interest from this money will then be used to fund the starting of 53 churches in Chicagoland. At the end of 22 years the principle will be returned to whomever the trust names as recipient.

Visionary leaders interested in changing the spiritual history of Chicagoland.

THE HISTORY
From 1956 ­ 2000, CDEA started 56 churches which cost $3 Million.

FUNDING THE PLAN
2004 ­ 2009 6 Churches
Cost: $640,000 ($120,000 per church)
Interest: $900,000 (5% / $3 M)
Giving: $62,000 (from these new churches.

2010 ­ 2015 12 Churches
(2 churches per year)
Cost: $1.36 M
Interest: $900,000
Giving: $$297,000

2016 ­ 2020
(3 churches per year)
Cost: $1.72 M
Interest: $1.05 M (7% interest)
Giving: $569,000

2021 ­ 2025
(4 churches per year)
Cost: $2.32 M
Interest: $1.05 M
Giving: $970,000

THE RESULT: 53 churches started in Chicagoland in 22 years!

With this investment plan, we will start 53 churches in 22 years and the $3 Million will be returned to the investor.

These new churches will:
… Target those currently unchurched in Chicagoland.
… Reach diverse ethnic populations.
… Impact some of the urbanized areas of Chicagoland.
… Become parents (they will have daughters of their own).
… Add 10,000 ­ 15,000 new individuals to God’s Kingdom.
… Begin a multiplication movement that will spread across the region.

$3 MILLION UPDATE FACTS

INVESTING IN THIS PROGRAM:
The interest from the money invested will be used to start the new churches.
Money can be invested for varying terms: 2 year, 3 year, 5 year and 10 year.
When the term is complete, the principle will be returned to the investor.
Principle will be held in a secure, interest-earning account.WHY $3 MILLION?
$3 million will enable this church planting plan to be fully funded through 2020. The interest earned, plus the money that will be given back through the mission’s program of the churches started will provide the necessary funding for the first 33 churches to be started. (From 2021 ­ 2025, in order to start 4 churches per year, we will need to raise an additional $1 million.)

WHO DO WE NEED ON OUR TEAM?
History is filled with the examples of people who changed history through innovation, perseverance and sacrifice. People like Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell changed history with their inventions, Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr changed history by their willingness to take a stand, modern day history changers, Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Howard Schultz (Starbucks) have changed history by the products they have introduced to culture.

We believe this plan will help change the spiritual history of Chicagoland by providing the funding for a multiplication of churches to take place across the region. This plan will lead to a variety of churches being started in diverse areas of Chicagoland. These churches will not all look the same, but we know they will positively impact the towns and neighborhoods for Christ as they grow. We anticipate between 10,000 ­ 15,000 people will come into the Kingdom of God through these new churches. This innovative approach to church planting is one we excitedly invite individuals to be a part of.
