The History of the CDEA

The CDEA exists to reach the unchurched and unclaimed in Chicagoland for Christ by starting new churches.

The CHICAGO DISTRICT EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION has been greatly used of the Lord in the planting of churches in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area. At the conclusion of World War II, Christian Churches in Northeastern Illinois and Northwestern Indiana numbered 27, with the majority of churches in Indiana.

Since 1945, the number of Christian Churches in the Chicago and Northwestern Indiana area has increased
to over 100 with over 58 of those churches a direct result of the church planting efforts of the Chicago District Evangelistic Association.
