Looking Ahead in 2009
1. A New Church for the City.
A partnership is now in place with the goal of starting a high impact church in Chicago. We're currently looking for a church planter for this work.
2. Simple Churches for the City.
Mark Willis is spearheading the simple church network in the City of Chicago. He is currently looking for leaders of these simple churches. One simple church is currently meeting in the Hyde Park neighborhood of the city. Mark Willis is working on developing more simple church leaders for these works. 3. Cissna Park, IL.
We are looking at starting a new work in this rural community. We are also looking for a church planter for this as well.

The Chicago District Evangelistic Association is a church-planting ministry located in one of America's greatest population centers. NW Indiana and the Chicagoland portion of NE Illinois is home to over 11 million people. It is estimated that over 60% of Chicagoland population is unchurched. The CDEA has been planting churches across Chicagoland for over 100 years.
